About

WIN_20220117_12_44_50_Pro.jpg

As an applied linguist and experienced educator, I have harnessed my linguistic training to develop intervention programmes for children and adults who have language-based reading difficulties, particularly dyslexia. These programmes are informed by both language science and research-proven approaches to reading instruction. I have also had the privilege of training language and reading teachers in a linguistic approach to instruction.

Ultimately, my goal is to equip students, especially those who have had negative experiences with reading, to uncover its advantages and delights for themselves so that they will read because they want to, not because they have to.

What Clients Say

"I am absolutely pleased with [my child's] progress to date. His reading, reasoning and confidence have increased tremendously, so much so that his class teacher contacted me to convey similar sentiments about his performance in class."
